I’m just like every other #basicwhitegirl who obsesses over all things autumn. As soon as September hit I was whipping out my fall themed decor and started hitting up my local Starbucks for the highly coveted Pumpkin a Spice Latte, and melting Autumn Sunset Scentsy in every room. Here’s a few images of areas in my home.
Front patio decor. DIY Burlap Wreath, DIY Harvest Pallet Board, Pumpkin Patch wooden blocks purchased from fellow crafter, “Welcome” sign & DIY Monogrammed Pumpkin from Michael's, false floral items from Dollar Tree. Picked up my corn stalks and straw bale from Sprouts-local farmers market.
Target finds: Quote plaques & puppy Halloween costume tees.

"hello fall" from Target's one spot, Mini burlap owl-Dollar Tree, ** Carvable pumpkin from Walmart $9.97- purchased exact match at Michaels for $29.99**
I made this rustic Harvest board using a heavy duty pallet that sat behind my workplace for the last year. I couldn’t find decent size letter stencils anywhere local, and ended up just free hand painting the letters on. I started with an orange acrylic paint, adding a few layers to get a good pigmentation. I then outlined each letter with a thin stripe of white acrylic paint. To add a more rustic look I mixed a color, for around the outside of the wood and random strokes to add age, using what I had left of some browns, and black. Once dried I used a sander to ruff up and remove some of the lettering. Couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
Totally free craft!! (Granted I had some old acrylic paints from Halloweens and crafts in the past)
I’ve also been in love with all the cutely decorated burlap pumpkins I’ve seen in all the craft stores. I used the standard plastic pumpkin trick-or-treat buckets at Target, 2- 9ft rolls of burlap ribbon from the Dollar Tree, and a trusty old hot glue gun.
$4 Craft- $1 pumpkin bucket, $1 mini glue sticks, $2 burlap ribbon
