We did it! We bought our first house in April of this year. Woot! Woot! A small, 3 bed, 2 bath, house in a newer subdivision in southern Idaho.
Quick peek, these are from our first weekend living in the house. Due to my anxiety, I couldn’t really relax until most of the work was done.
Here is a DIY Starburst mirror my mother in law made. She spray painted some wooden cabob sticks and glued on a round mirror and some clear aquarium stones.
I also have a small gallery wall at the end of the hall.

This is my grandmothers China Hutch. She gifted it to me when my grandparents retired to the Oregon Coast.
On top of the china hutch I have a grouping of frames and a gorgeous green pitcher all found at thrift stores. I filled the pitcher with false flowers from the Dollar Tree. Some false succulents from Micheals. Wire basket is from Walmart.
This wreath I absolutely love, it currently hangs on the door seperating the kitchen from the Pantry/Laundry. It was a gift from my Grandma, it has the perfect coloring.
Here are some befores and afters, of course as any home..I’m still adding and changing things
The landscaping had been neglected, it had been rented out prior to selling.
I did a lot of flower bed clean up, the dogs prior has killed a lot of the grass in the back. I reseeded and planned new things, dug old dead ones out. Added a fire pit and some flower beds.

Again, from our first week in the house. I’d give anything to have that determination everyday!!
