Here is how I organize my makeup desk & beauty items:
On the top of my desk I keep my most used eye & face brushes in clear glass vases filled with diamond vase fillers from the wedding section at Michaels. I also have my Hempz Body lotion for quick access and a dual sided light up mirror.
Top Side Drawer: I keep all my everyday makeup. I have clear acrylic trays from the Dollar Tree to group like items together in all my drawers. Along the far side I keep my most used bronzers, pressed powders, and highlighting powder. Then I have my concealers and a sample of eyeshadow primer I'm currently using. In the center I keep my hair brush, teasing comb, pencil sharpener, and a tray with all my tube products: Benefit They're Real Mascara, Josie Maran Black Oil, Maybeline Stiletto Lash, Elf Clear Brow Gel, Urban Decay Primer Potion, and eye liners. Along the other side I have my Urban Decay Naked Pallets and 2 shades of Physician Formula powder.
Top Long Drawer: I keep my lip products in one tray. Lashes, eyeliners, and brow pencils in another. Individual shadows and small shadow pallets in the 3rd large tray. Beside that I have my makeup brush book, with 4 pages of brushes & younique fiber lash. I have 2 of the primer potion samples that come with Naked pallets, blotting sheets, and some shadow samples. Along the front I have tube items (primer sample, lash glue, highlighter gel) & then the other 2 small trays have my eye creams and skin care samples.
Middle Side Drawer: I have all my less used pressed powders, bronzers, and blushes. Face primers along the side. Urban Decay 24hr setting spray and my face creams are in the center. I have a large box of q-tips along one side. Along the front I have a large container of all the samples of mascara from my Sephoras Lash Stash I have yet to open, Protein Nail treatment & top coat in the middle and extra small bronzers.
Bottom Drawer: Hair Supplies including 2 Batisste Dry Shampoos, Joico hairspray, Matrix Biolage heat protection oil, Joico styling oil, Joico liquid back-comb, and Bed Head back combing powder. I have a tray of samples on the very bottom with Crest whitening strip and makeup sponges on top. I keep my large shadow pallets along the side and then I have a tray of all my sample pouches from Sephora and Ulta. The very front tray has my powder and foundation that is too dark now that summer ends. I cleaned the containers and sealed them tightly to keep till next summer. I have a back up bottle of Clinque lotion, and extra eye make remover and other misc. items.
I keep all my scents on a mirrored tray I picked up at the Idaho Youth Ranch-Thrift Store.
