I am far from perfect about my skin care routine. I go to bed with makeup on, some weekends I don't even bathe everyday. & as disgusting as it is, I've gone without brushing my teeth. However, now that I am 25 it is important to take good care of your skin in order to prevent wrinkles and fine lines.
Morning:
I start each day with a shower, I start by shampooing & conditioning my hair.( I alternate between Joico Kpak and another shampoo conditioner duo. Currently its Fekkai Color Care (not a big fan). I also use Joico clarifying shampoo & Joico Kpak deep conditioner once a week. Clarifying removes any buildup left on my hair & scalp and deep conditioning keeps it manageable.) While my conditioner sits in my hair, I wash my face using my spin brush. You should always wash your face twice, once to remove your makeup & another to deep clean your face. I also give my skin a good exfoliation once a week.( I use cetaphil gentle cleanser to keep acne at bay, clinque 7 day scrub for a gentle exfoliante, and este lauders foaming face wash.)I try and shave each day, to keep up on stubble but some days I just don't have enough time for my legs. When it comes to shaving arm pits you should tackle it from all 4 directions. Arm pit hair, like beard hair, grows in every direction and to get a good close shave you need to switch up the angles. Finally I rinse out my conditioner and hop out.
Before applying my makeup I tackle my skin care, this allows my creams to fully sink in and gives me time to enjoy a cup of coffee. Depending on the day and my moisture needs I either use Clinque Dramatically Different Lotion or Estee Lauders DayWear. I give my lips a little Jack Black lip balm with SPF, apply a tiny bit of Clinques All about Eyes and then using a q-tip I apply a skin lightening serum to any acne scars or discoloration.
Night: I double wash my face. Dry off and apply Estee Lauders Night Eye Cream, Cliniques Moisture Surge and MOR Lip Macaron balm. I throw my hair up into a loose bun and enjoy a cup of tea while I watch my evening TV.
